Hoy comenzamos el concurso en el cuál tienen la posibilidad de ganar un smartphone Pantech Matrix Pro nuevo, además de una tarjeta con un crédito por valor de 100 dólares, que pueden utilizar en AT&T Store.
El concurso es solo para residentes de los Estados Unidos y comenzó al momento de la publicación de este post y termina a las 6:00 p.m. Central Time (Dallas Time) del día Sabado 25 de Abril.
Para participar del mismo deben de ser residentes legales de los Estados Unidos y cumplir con uno de los dos requisitos siguientes (solo uno!).
a) dejando un un comentario en este post, opinando cuál es la característica que más les gusta
de este smartphone y pueden ver información sobre el mismo en el sitio oficial de Pantech Matrix Pro. Recuerden dejar una dirección de email real en caso de que ganen el concurso y debamos comunicarnos con ustedes (la misma no será publicada).
o b) Utilizando el servicio de Twitter, enviar un RT (ReTweet) con el siguiente mensaje:

El ganador recibirá como premio un smartphone Pantech Matrix Pro nuevo y una tarjeta con un crédito de 100 dólares para utilizar en el store de AT&T.
El ganador será determinado mediante un sorteo que realizaremos a través del servicio Random.org, utilizando el procedimiento List Randomizer. Apenas finalize el sorteo, le enviaremos un email o un mensaje privado a través de Twitter (según sea el caso) al ganador y este tendrá 24 horas para confirmar, si no recibimos respuesta dentro de las 24 horas de enviado el email, el participante sorteado en segundo puesto se hará acreedor al premio y así sucesivamente hasta que uno de los sorteados confirme que acepta el premio. El ganador deberá enviarnos su nombre y apellido real, dirección postal y número de teléfono para que AT&T le envíe el premio directamente a su domicilio.
Cuando el ganador acepte el premio, publicaremos un post anunciando el nombre del ganador.

The contest start at the moment that this post is publish, and it will run until Saturday, April 25, at 6:00 p.m Central Time (Dallas Time).
We will decide the winner, using the list Randomizer procedure of the Random.org website.
The winner will be contacted by email or through a private message through Twitter, and have 24 hrs to accept the prize, if we do not receive an answer, the prize will be for the next participant in the list generated in Random.org, and so on, until somebody accepts the prize.
The winner has to send us the real name, postal address and telephone, and we will send this information to AT&T, who will send the prize directly to the winner address.
When the winner accepts the prize, we will write a post, announcing his/her name.

Two key advantages: it is Standard Windows Mobile OS so I will not be mistakenly answering/calling/sending messages and calls (don’t forget this is a phone first and then a smart device). Second advantage, unique form factor for a smart phone. This phone is perfect for my needs and I really need it as my contract with AT&T needs to be renewed soon.
I like the slide out Qwerty keyboard. I just noticed that when you type Qwerty you use the first 6 letters in a row on the keyboard.
I love the flexibility of windows mobile and the two separate keyboards keep fingerprints off the screen.
I like the dual keyboard. I’m sick of the touch screens where people with larger fingers spend more time deleting than typing.
The dual slider feature is terrific! It makes the phone both ompact and practical for either calls or text entry.
I like the slide out keyboard. I want it for my wife who has NOT learned to appreciate her iphone!
After doing a lot of research on cell phones, I hae come to the conclusion that the Matrix pro does all that a smart phone should do. The best feature is the ability to leave my laptop at home (so my daughter can use it) when I travel and still be able to do everything I need to do (email, text, word processing, spreadsheet work, keep up with appointments and even make phone calls!) with ease of operation and, most importantly, with GREAT STYLE!
I like the slide out Qwerty keyboard also. I would love to start twittering and texting. Thanks for the chance.

I like the fact that it has a keyboard and a number pad.
I really like everything about it. The colors, the separate duo keypads, and the 3G network it comes with. It seems like it would make a very good phone for the winner(s).
I like that it has a qwerty keyboard.
I like the keyboard. I guess I’m not too original in this thought.
I like user friendly interfaces without a lot of menus. For me, the sliding panel user interface is the best feature.

Clearly, the best feature – other than the Windows Mobile OS – is the dual-slider keyboard. No other smartphone comes close!

Definitely the dual slider – e-mail is super important for me, and a touchscreen just doesn’t cut it. a real keyboard makes a big difference to me, and will help me support my internet addiction on the go.
I love the two keyboards. I’ve never enjoyed the virtual keyboards and having qwerty only tablets make typing phone numbers a pain when I’m in a hurry.
Pantech solves both problems with this phone.

Windows Mobile – that’s the feature I like best about this phone.
I like the threaded text messages. Maybe I’m living in the stone age, but I haven’t ever had a phone that does that!
i like the slide out keyboard. i didn’t spend all those years learning to type for nothing! it seems much easier to me to type than to work my way through the alphabet to text a message.

My favorite feature has got to be the dual slider. It sure beats the on-screen Winmo dialer, by far. Oh, and the dual-slider has a geek cred rating of «ubergeek.»
My favorite feature of this phone has to be how the Windows Mobile OS threads your text messages. It would really help when I have someone send me more than one message about an info meeting, so I don’t have to go back and forth between each message because I forget what the first one said. Or even when I send more than one person a message, and forget what I had said to each person! This would also come in handy when I’m writing a very detailed message and I need to recall what the message that I’m replying to had said, so I don’t have to exit, save it to drafts, look at the message, then go back to it and continue writing.
I’m want to have a classier, better, hi-tech phone then my son – and at 60+ yrs old, I need a nice-sized – regular qwerty keyboard – Thanks, Kate
My favorite feature is the dual slider. With my current touch-based WinMo device, I have to look at the screen to actually dial numbers. Having a dedicated keypad for this will help. At the same time, I don’t want to lose my dedicated QWERTY keyboard. This is the best of both worlds.
I like that the phone slides two ways. It is built for both texting and actually using as a phone.

Everything on this phone is great! I love the dual sliding keyboards,the design,and the fact that it is a smartphone is icing on the cake! I love it! =)
My favorite thing is the Windows Mobile 6.1. With the windows on the phone your able to get applications like Google Latitude which allows you to see where your friends and family are at on a phone.
